Genevieve, owner of The Healing Warrior (https://thehealingwarrior.com.au/), natural healer and creative being, shared her full story with us and gave me full creative reign to capture her essence through stills and motion. The creative journey was a treasured period of time- I was inspired by Genevieve’s strength and her ability to choose to see what is going right rather than what isn’t and bask in gratitude.
It was so important to me to capture her spirit, the stages of healing as a story and portray peace through hardship. The natural environment that was chosen for her shoot location makes it appear as though she is alone on a different planet, later realising there is ocean and life out there and she can go to it. Also, I wanted the natural landscapes and textures to act as a nod to her beautiful natural wellness products.

Courtney Freeman, Interior Stylist, Furniture Designer & Owner of The Lazy Stylist (https://www.instagram.com/thelazystylistau/) wanted to revamp her content, showcase her furniture in a new and exciting way. So we set her designs free to the streets as a little act of rebellion against the four walls they usually sit within and they had an absolute ball. She had a special request to be captured in a way that would share hints to her personality which she could use for more personal connection with her followers. Courtney is really bubbly with a vibrant energy so we wanted location to be ultra paired back so she could glow without distraction. The textured pink wall was a real mood.
